BiographyHistory

Sheridan was educated at Trinity College, Dublin. He was a prominent figure in Maryborough, Qld and for many years was collector of Customs. He later became a member of the Legislative Assembly, Qld and Postmaster-General. Sheridan was a regular contributor to Queensland journals.
