BiographyHistory

Erle Wilson's grandparents had joined one of the last gold rushes in Australia and his father was born on the 'Jim Crow' diggings in Victoria. The family went back to Scotland but Wilson returned to Tasmania and later New South Wales. He also travelled to New Zealand, Canada and some Pacific Islands. He wrote many short stories published and broadcast in Britain, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
