Richard Watts has presented a weekly arts program, SmartArts on 3RRR FM, Melbourne, a role he continued in 2018. He has also edited the gay and lesbian community newspaper MCV.
In 2018, he was performing arts editor at www.artshub.com.au, served on the board for Going Down Swinging and on the management committee for La Mama theatre, and was a member of the Green Room Awards Independent Theatre panel and a life member of the Melbourne Queer Film Festival.
