In her meeting report for the Australian Poetry Lovers' Society, Adelaide, Miss Cumming refers to the recitation of 'Men of the Mallee' by Clifford Collas "a promising young Melbourne poet". (All About Books. Vol.9, No.9, 13 September 1937, p.145)
