BiographyHistory

Founded in Buenos Aires, Argentina, by Javier Vergara in 1975, this Spanish-language publisher focused almost exclusively on translated fiction and non-fiction. It was an independent operation until 1997, when it was sold to the Spanish media group Grupo Zeta. Vergara has since been relaunched as an imprint of this group.
