BiographyHistory

Grant Stone, a botanist by training, has worked as a librarian, radio journalist, bibliographer, archivist, and reviewer and critic of science fiction. He is also a past president of the Children's Book Council of Western Australia.

For some decades Stone has broadcast the weekly Faster than Light science fiction programme on Radio RTR-FM in Western Australia and his depth of knowledge in this field is highly regarded.

With Toby Burrows, Stone has edited Comics in Australia and New Zealand : the collections, the collectors, the creators (1994), and previously edited with Caroline Strong the programme for Swancon XI : the 1986 Australian National Science Fiction Convention.
