BiographyHistory

The firm Carey and Page was formed around 1876 in Adelaide, one partner being Theophilus Skilton Carey (1845-1915), a journalist who had printed and published the Mount Gambier Standard in Mount Gambier, South Australia in 1874. The firm, which was known as a lithographer, printer and publisher, had premises on Weymouth Street, and later moved to 90 King William Street.
