BiographyHistory

Stan Krasnoff was born to a Siberian Cossack father and a Belo Russian mother. He arrived in Australia after spending a brief period in a displaced persons' camp on the Philippines island of Tubabaoa. He was in the Australian Army for twenty-two years, graduating from the Officer Cadet School, Portsea, Victoria as an officer in 1961. He retired at a Lieutenant Colonel.
