BiographyHistory

Alan Hancock is a university lecturer, a playwright and performance poet whose work has been broadcast on the ABC and BBC. He has been a writer-in-residence in a number of towns in Western Australia and has taught at Murdoch, ECU, UWA Extension and the Albany Summer School. Hancock completed his doctoral research on the subject of artistic creativity. In 2003, he developed and ran (Freeflow) writing classes in cafes in Perth's western suburbs.
