BiographyHistory

English illustrator of children's books. Margaret Tarrant was the daughter of the English landscape artist Percy Tarrant who encouraged her work. She created posters, greeting cards, calendars, postcards and books for fifty years and was most popular during the 1920's and 1930's for her romantic depiction of children, fairies and animals.
