Romance, competent though unlikely. (PB)

— Appears in: The Australian Journal , July vol. 8 no. 98 1873; (p. 623-624) The captain and first-mate of a schooner sunk between a South American port and New York duel on the surviving raft (a large one!) for the safety of the ship's owner, his wife and their beautiful daughter. High romance bordering on the highly unlikely. (PB)
