BiographyHistory

Robert Louis Jefferson was an internationally renowned cyclist and motorist. He visited Australia in 1912, while on a motoring tour, and again in 1914. He died in Melbourne while working as a travelling representative of the Wolseley Motor Company. An obituary, titled 'Mr R L Jefferson, FRGS: Death in Melbourne', appears in The Argus, 2 September 1914: 7.
