BiographyHistory

Printer David Gall, who had previously been in business with Henry Hussey as Hussey and Gall, and before that also with J. T. Shawyer as Hussey, Shawyer and Gall, printed under his own name from around 1857. The business had premises at 89 King William Street in Adelaide.

Gall formed a partnership with Reg Sheridan, a former printing apprentice with the firm, and, from around 1873, the company traded as Gall and Sheridan. In 1875 the business was taken over by Scrymgour and Sons.
