'Caroline Reid began writing for the theatre at Curtin University, where she completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1992. Since then she has been commissioned to write plays for a number of professional theatre companies and community arts organisations. She has tackled themes which are richly relevant, contemporary, and challenging - including youth suicide (in Prayer to an Iron God), living with mental illness in Hysteria, youth drug and alcohol abuse in Grip, and Multiple Sclerosis.'
