BiographyHistory

James Haldane-Stevenson was an Anglican priest, a radical who stirred up controversy. He translated works from Latin, Greek and Welsh. He contributed to The Spectator and was Melbourne correspondent for Le Monde. He wrote a Passion play that was performed twice in Canberra and was the winner of literary competitons.
