BiographyHistory

Eleanor White studied at the University of Western Australia. She worked in the field of adult education and wrote for The Sunday Times. White also taught Creative Writing and conducted summer schools in country areas. She was a member of the Fellowship of Australian Writers from 1930, served as president from 1975 to 1977, and in 1977 was awarded honorary life membership.
