BiographyHistory

This author served with the 7th Battery, Australian Field Artillery at Gallipoli in World War I and contributed to The Anzac Book (1916). The name 'H.E. Shell' appears to be a writing name. The letters 'H.E.' are a common abbreviation of the words 'High Explosive'.
