BiographyHistory

Harry McCann served at Gallipoli in World War I with the 4th Australian Light Horse. He subsequently served in Palestine and then in France, where he was awarded the Military Cross and also mentioned in despatches. During World War II he again served in the Australian Army, and was again mentioned in despatches. He contributed to The Anzac Book (1916).
