BiographyHistory

Saman Shad worked as a journalist, including as the editor of SBS Voices, and been writer in residence at the Hampstead Theatre and the Soho Theatre.

Her play, Nas's Marriage Agency, was included in Darlinghurst Theatre Company's development program in 2020, with dramaturg Courtney Stewart, directorKenneth Moreleda, and cast members including Nicholas Brown, Lex Marinos, Monica Kumar, and Jennifer Rani.
