BiographyHistory

The daughter of novelist Eleanor Graeme-Evans and a RAF fighter pilot, Posie Graeme-Evans spent her childhood living between Europe, the Orient and Australia. Settling in Adelaide, Graeme-Evans attended school there. She later married and moved briefly to New Zealand where she began work in the television industry. Returning to Australia, Graeme-Evans worked for the Tasmanian Film Corporation until 1982 when she was chosen for a production course with the Australian Broadcasting Commission.

In addition to writing novels, Graeme-Evans has been a film and television producer, a writer and a director. Among her credits are the television drama series MacLeod's Daughters and the children's entertainment show Hi-5.
