BiographyHistory

Australian author of picture books and informational science books. Murphy is a qualified zoologist, and holds an M.Sc. Her non-fiction work focuses strongly on wild animals (particularly natural adaptations) and the environment.

In addition to awards listed on AustLit, she has won the Education Publishing Australia Award (2015: Primary student resource, Arts/Science/Humanities, for Environments and Responsibility) and the Australian Geography Teachers Association Award (2014, for Environments and Responsibility).
