BiographyHistory

With a commitment to fostering theatre and arts in general to childen and families, Cate Fowler was Youth and Family Program Manager at the Adelaide Festival Centre and Artistic Advisor to the 1995 Come Out Festival in South Australia. She was awarded a Matilda Award in 1998 for her contribution to the development of Early Childhood Theatre and was one of the inaugural recipients of an Australia-Japan Arts Network Asialink residency. She was Director of Education Services for the Queensland Arts Council before being appointed Director/Creative Producer of the Adelaide-based children's theatre group, the Windmill Performing Arts Company, in 2002.
