Pam Maclean, a lecturer in the Faculty of Arts at Deakin University, has contributed to numerous study units covering a range of areas and approaches in European and Australian history, and incorporating a special interest in migration history, immigration policy and multiculturalism. She has recently developed units on the Jewish Holocaust. Her research interests as a lecturer in history include German-Jewish relations in Eastern Europe during the First World War; Australian-Jewish history and intervarsity cooperation in the provision of distance education. She has been preparing a study of the Yiddish-Australian writer, Pinchas Goldhar, and is preparing a text on the Holocaust.
