BiographyHistory

Christopher Bray migrated to Western Australia in the early 1960s. While initially working in the Kimberley Region as a labourer with the Main Roads Department he saved enough money to briefly attend the University of Western Australia. During his time in the Kimberley he also developed an interest in writing and was soon being represented by a literary agent. From short stories he progressed to novels, with five works published in America by Heinemann and the Viking Press during the period 1968-72. Personal circumstances subsequently silenced his writing career, but in 2007 he was said to have commenced a new novel with the working title, 'The Thirteenth Arrow.'
