BiographyHistory

Urban Theatre Projects (UTP) aims to produce and create work that has social impact. UTP has created over a hundred new Australian works that have received awards and recognition internationally and nationally. The organisation focuses on 'real-life stories that present a complex portrait of contemporary Australia and bring these stories into the everyday by creating site-specific, distinctive, cultural experiences for [their] audiences.'

UTP presents work in theatres across Australia, internationally, and unexpected locations including laneway art galleries, backyards, shop corners and more.
