BiographyHistory

Frederica Michalantos was born in the Kozani province of Greece. She completed her High School studies in Ptolemaida, Greece, and on migrating to Australia, settled in Adelaide, married and had two children.

She learnt English at the Migrant Education School of Languages and writes in both Greek and English. She is a qualified interpreter and has worked as a Greek language teacher.

She is a member of the Women Writers Association and the Association of Greek-Australian Writers and Artists.
