Writer, director and producer, John Watson began writing for the theatre in 1973 and wrote much of his own stand up comedy material while a performer in theatre restaurant from 1976 to 1985. Since the 1980s he has alone and collaboratively worked on many projects including main stream music theatre, children's theatre, theatre in education, community theatre, new form performance art, corporate theatre, film and television.
