BiographyHistory

Born in Maisons Lafitte, Paris in 1889, died 74 years later in the town of Milly La Foret, Fontainbleau. During his 74 years Cocteau managed to write novels, poetry, plays and journals. He painted, drew, choreographed, directed, wrote and produced films and became accomplished in all these areas.
