Mary Thomas is a Warmun artist who was born on Alice Downs Station, in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Mary Thomas, 'the mother of a large family' was born on Alice Downs Station. She 'has lived at Garden Area, one of the camps within the community at Warmun... Over the years, Mary has worked closely with Eileen Bray (q.v.) in language and cultural activities.'
