BiographyHistory

Jan Fullerton joined the National Library of Australia in 1967 after completing a librarian-in-training scholarship at the University of New South Wales. She worked in various areas of the Library before becoming the first woman appointed Director-General in August 1999. She announced her retirement in June 2010.
