Several artists and craftsmen from remote centres, towns and cities were appointed as Board members in 1973, the Chairman, Mr Dick Roughsey, Raphael Apuatimi, Albert Barunga, Harold Blair, Ken Colbung, Kitty Dick, Chicka Dixon, Ruby Hammond, Tim Leura Jabaidjari, Eric Koo'oila, Albert Lennon, Mick Miller, Wandjuk Marika, Vi Stanton, and Terrence Widders.
