Screaming Hyena : E-Journal of Queer Writing and Review is an online magazine which covers lesbian, bisexual, transgender, gay, feminist, homosexual, queer, bent and sometimes straight contemporary literature. It contains book reviews and also publishes non-fiction and poetry. Founded in 1994, this journal went online in March 1998 following the last printed issue in December 1997. Writers range from full-time authors to amateur reviewers and come from all over Australia, North America and the United Kingdom.
