BiographyHistory

In 2014, Ned Curthoys was appointed as senior lecturer in English and Cultural Studies at the University of Western Australia, as position he still held in 2018. Prior to this appointment, he was a research fellow in the School of Critical Enquiry and ARC post-doctoral fellow in the Centre for Cross-cultural Research, both at the Australian National University (ANU).

In addition to works individually indexed on AustLit, he is the author of The Legacy of Liberal Judaism: Ernst Cassirer and Hannah Arendt’s Hidden Conversation (Berghahn, 2013). In 2018, he was working on a monograph on contemporary bildungsroman.
