BiographyHistory

Helena Rosner survived the Holocaust. She married musician Leopold (Leo) Rosner (1918-2008) who also survived the death camps. Both saved by Oskar Schindler (q.v.). After their arrival in Melbourne, Victoria, the Rosners started the Moulin Rouge nightclub and, later, Dayan Receptions, both businesses in Melbourne. The story of Helena Rosner's life was told in a biography written by her eldest daughter, Anna Blay (q.v.) and published in 1998.
