BiographyHistory

Having lived in London from 1973 to 1980, Deborah Klein returned to Australia to study fine art. She began exhibiting her work of paintings, drawings and linocuts in 1985. But Klein had always wanted to illustrate a children's book and described the opportunity to work on The Greatest Treasure of Charlemagne the King to be 'a dream come true'. Klein regards St Kilda as her 'home town'.
