BiographyHistory

Gus Gordon grew up on a farm in northern New South Wales. After leaving school he worked on cattle stations all over Australia before deciding to pursue a drawing career. He studied at the Julian Ashton School of Art. His first picture book was published in 1996. He has lived on the Northern beaches of Sydney with his wife and three children. He has been an ambassador for the Room to Read Foundation.
