BiographyHistory

'The Katharine Susannah Prichard Writers' Centre is the oldest writers centre of its kind in Australia. The centre is located in the Perth hills, in the former home of Katharine Susannah Prichard, author of Coonardoo, Working Bullocks and The Goldfields Trilogy. The Centre encourages and facilitates writers' readings, workshops, writers in residence and other services, all designed to help and encourage writers at all levels of the craft.

The Katharine Susannah Prichard (KSP) Writers' Centre is run under the auspices of the Katharine Susannah Prichard Foundation Inc. Since its inception in 1985, this non-profit organisation has played an integral role in the development and promotion of Western Australian writing.'
