Writing in both Spanish and English, Lucinda Kathmann has published work as a novelist, short story writer, journalist and essayist. She is a member of the worldwide writers organization International PEN (q.v.) of which she has been Chair of the Women Writers Committee and International Vice President. Kathmann has lived in Mexico for over 25 years.
