BiographyHistory

A young Australian sportsman, son of a famous Australian Rules footballer and coach Bob Rose, and brother of the poet and writer Peter Rose. At twenty-two, Robert Rose became a quadriplegic following a car accident. He died twenty-five years later. Rose's brother Peter published the family memoir Rose Boys: A Memoir of Life with Robert in 2001.
