BiographyHistory

Bill Kent joined the Department of History at Monash University in 1965. He achieved international acclaim for his work on late Medieval and Renaissance Florence and was appointed to a Personal Chair in 1989. Just before his death he completed a biography of Lorenzo de Medici. Bill Kent made a major contribution to Monash University as a driving force behind and inaugural Director of the Monash Prato Centre.
