BiographyHistory

Viet Duong was born in Sydney in the late 1970s. In 1996, she attended a performance of Vietnamese poetry chanting held at the State Library of New South Wales. This event inspired her to learn Vietnamese and embrace her cultural heritage. It was also the beginning of her media work, as she submitted interviews she made that day to SBS Radio, which were subsequently broadcast.
