BiographyHistory

Fred Airey served in the British Army in World War I and emigrated to Australia in 1920. He settled in Perth, Western Australia in 1932 and from 1950 until his retirement in 1974 he was a successful real estate agent. During World War II, he was a prisoner of war in Java, Singapore and Thailand. For many years after, he was an active member of the WA branch of the Ex-prisoners of War Association.
