'Grendon housed the lecturers' offices from the Professional Writing and Philosophy departments from Victoria College, later Deakin University, at the Toorak Campus. Deakin University ultimately closed the campus and sold Grendon. '[T]he spirit of the workshop meetings of writers, artists and philosophers continues in Grendon Press.'
