Bob Chambers was born in Western Australia and has been a journalist and teacher. During the Second World War, he served in both the Army and Navy. Living in Perth and for some time on the Goldfields, Chambers was a full-time journalist from 1948, and also taught creative writing. He has written short stories and articles for many publications, and specialises in satire and humour.
