BiographyHistory

Leonidas or Leon Kalamaras, was born in the city of Florina in Macedonia-Greece, in 1932. In 1950 migrated to Perth-Western Australia. He studied Sculpture at the School of Arts in the University of Athens, for a year. He continued his studies in Perth-W.A., where he was awarded the degree of Sculpture. In 1968 was voted Teacher at the Sculpture School of Clairmont School of Art. He is a member of the board of the Art in Greece and also a member of the Association of Sculptors of Greece.
