BiographyHistory

According to Design & Art Australia Online, 'A.J. Johnson illustrated the early editions of novels by Ethel Turner and Ella Chaffey, including Turner's famous Seven Little Australians. His small-format illustrations were later replaced by full page works by Englishman J. Macfarlane.' Johnson was active 'c.1894-c.1896'.
