BiographyHistory

Roger Charles Tichborne was heir to an English baronetcy. He evidently drowned off South America in 1854, but his mother refused to accept his fate and advertised world wide seeking her son. Amongst the claimaints was Arthur Orton.

The subject of the 'Tichborne Claimant' is covered in a range of Australian fictional works.
