BiographyHistory

Soldier and explorer. Patrick Logan was Commandant of the Moreton Bay penal settlement in 1826. He explored the south-western ranges of the Brisbane watershed in 1827 and 1828, and was exploring and surveying the Upper Brisbane River when killed by a hostile Aboriginal tribe in 1830.
