Henry Sutton is the pseudonym used by the American scholar, translator, poet and novelist David R. Slavitt. Slavitt published eighty books. Two of his novels, The Voyeur and The Exhibitionist, became best-sellers in America during the 1960s. Both books were banned in Australia in 1969 and 1968 respectively.
