BiographyHistory

George Frederick Cross, 'a curate committed to colonial service', married Ada Cambridge in England on 25 April 1870. On 19 August 1870 they landed in Melbourne, Victoria.

Cross spent the next thirty years in Victoria until he and his wife returned to England in 1913. He died at Brighton, England, on 27 February 1917. Ada Cambridge, returned to Victoria in late 1917.
